Job Name:               Project Manager –Requirements Generation and Evaluation

Location:                 Northern VA (will consider non-local candidates)

Telecommute:         No 

Travel Required:   Minimal

Skills:                     Project Management of network development projects. Requirements management processes. Manage requirements traceability throughout network development cycles.  Run RFI/RFQ/RFP.  PMP Preferred. Excellent communication.

Experience Level:  Mid-Senior level

Pay Rate:               Monthly, Highly Competitive 

Duration:              ~6 month, possible extension                            

Tax Term:             Contract 1099, with opportunity to W2

Job Summary

Seasoned, highly technical Project Manager with experience managing network equipment development and integration projects.  The Project Manager focuses on creating, maintaining, and improving the product requirements generation and management processes for the clients.

Skills and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree and experience in related technical field (Network equipment, IT, mobile devices, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Project Manager
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience integrating network equipment, deployment, or development projects
  • Familiar with RFI/RFQ/RFP processes
  • Understanding of requirement management tool
  • Proven ability to manage and improve business processes
  • Demonstrated communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of LTE, 3GPP standards, or small cell is big plus 


  • Manage product requirements throughout the development cycle for end-to-end network development program
  • Generate and maintain requirements traceability matrix throughout the development cycle.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment across the product requirements through requirements harmonization activities
  • Document, communicate, and enforce requirements generation and management processes throughout the client organizations. There are 30-50 requirements authors/owners. 
  • Survey requirements management tools, including ones that are in use by client but outside of the client network development organization. 
  • Make recommendation on product development and the requirements management processes improvement, including the results of requirements management tool survey, above.
