Job Description

 

Experienced Product Managers to define and manage product requirements for handsets/devices, network systems, or mobile applications/services. The role encompasses new product/new technology market analysis; industry and client survey development & execution; technical requirements analysis and definition; next generation product/service definition; vendor selection & management; wireless service enablement; and strategy evaluation. Ultimate responsibility is to manage project(s) to client acceptance.

What we are looking for:

  • BA, MBA or equivalent experience from within the wireless industry
  • More than 5 years experience working in product management in the mobile industry
  • Must have understanding of the technical aspects of mobile hardware
  • Mobile browser / mobile data services and systems experience (e.g. mobile web, WAP, Web 2.0 services, open internet access, SMS, mobile applications, Flash, Java)
  • Broad knowledge of mobile industry, market trend and basic consumer electronics technology
  • Strong leadership; capable of influencing and inspiring others that do not directly work for them
  • Strategic thinker that can also get things done and pays attention to detail
  • Excellent analytic, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Self starter, working effectively with minimum supervision

What you will do:

  • Gather information (market, competitive information and carrier technology/segmentation strategies in the mobile industry) in order to create proposals and provide guidance for client's current and future product roadmap.
  • Identify market needs and define propositions
  • Generate product requirements and manage them through implementation, then evaluation
  • Drive innovation opportunities and ideas for the mobile product portfolio, defining OS, ecosystem, application, content, product experiences
